Athletic Philosophy
At Holy Trinity Catholic School, we believe another way to provide Christian character development is through athletics. We believe anyone who is willing to try a sport should be allowed the opportunity. Therefore, Holy Trinity Catholic School has a "no cut" policy for athletics. The focus of our athletic program includes the areas of Knowledge, Physical Conditioning, Values and Attitudes.
Knowledge
Our coaches work to effectively communicate the fundamentals of the sport and then build upon these fundamentals. The coaches strive to motivate the students to continue to develop their game.
Physical Conditioning
Athletics is an opportunity for students to become and remain physically fit. Physical activity increases one's energy level and overall well-being. This can carry over into academics and other aspects of a students' life.
Values and Attitudes
Teaching positive values and attitudes is the main focus of our Athletic Program. In addition to the value of hard work and teamwork, some of the other important values and attitudes learned through athletics include integrity, pride, self-discipline, mental and physical alertness, and above all - Sportsmanship.
