Upgrade Grant

Holy Trinity Catholic School is the proud recipient of the Upgrade - Your health. Your way. grant, a program of the Welborn Baptist Foundation.

The Upgrade Initiative

The School Wellness Committee, in collaboration with the Welborn Baptist Foundation, focuses on five essential initiatives (listed below) to improve areas of weakness and continue areas of strength.

Physical Education & Physical Activity
Physical activity in classrooms, moderate to vigorous physical activity lessons in Physical Education, active recess, walking club

Nutrition Environment & Services
Food service training and equipment, healthy student rewards and celebrations

Family Engagement & Community Involvement
Community health events, newsletters, school to home activities

Health Education
SuperFood HEROES, nutrition education, student wellness awareness group (SWAG)

Employee Wellness
Nutrition awareness, health fairs, staff challenges
